OUR WORSHIP COMMUNITY
We are a multi-age worship community composed of people from diverse cultural and language backgrounds, with strong connections to Uniting Westmead Residential Aged Care facility and three Independent Living Villages.
We welcome a growing number of people with alternate abilities, who are included in our community in meaningful ways.
Westmead Uniting Church is committed to the practice of inclusion and hospitality, and believes that God has called us to be people who offer hospitality to others in the name of Jesus Christ. For this reason, we are called to act with respect, to treat people with dignity, and to be people of faith offering friendship and hope to others in the name of Christ.
Our church is located on the same site as Parramatta Mission’s ‘175 One Hotels and Apartments’ and the Keramic Café – directly opposite Westmead Hospital, one of the largest teaching hospitals in the Southern Hemisphere.
