At Parramatta Mission, we are deeply grateful for all volunteers, whose kindness and commitment have made possible our goal to visit Grace upon our community through our services. For that reason, we want to provide a positive experience to all volunteers who put up their hands and choose to work with us.

How to Volunteer

We have a wide variety of volunteering opportunities within Parramatta Mission which are ever-changing. To find out more, please click here.

When you are ready, you can volunteer as an individual or with a group of your friends and colleagues.

To start your journey with us, there are only a few steps:

Register and complete the new Volunteer Application Form HERE.

You will then receive acknowledgement of your application detailing the next steps which may include attending a site introduction and induction session, obtaining a NSW Working With Children Check and providing details for us to perform a Criminal Record Check. Please note an adverse outcome from the Criminal Check does not automatically disqualify someone from volunteering.

Review and agree to relevant Parramatta Mission policies and complete any relevant online training.

Communicate and coordinate your availability to be entered into our volunteer schedule.

Then you will be ready to commence your first shift!
